Vermont
Two members of a family inherited a 200-acre farm property in southern Vermont. Creative Conservation, LLC worked with the family to develop a long-term plan that met the family's objectives of keeping the forest and farmland under active management, protecting significant natural areas, and allowing for limited future development.

Boothbay, Maine
Creative Conservation worked with the parents and four children of a family to plan how their 130-acre coastal property will be passed on to the next generation. The plan allows for additional development by family members while placing the majority of the property, including all of the shoreline, under conservation easement.

North Haven, Maine
Creative Conservation worked with a large family to plan the future of three trust ownerships on North Haven. The plan identified building sites for additional family dwellings and areas to be conserved. As a follow-up to the planning process, Creative Conservation, LLC developed two conservation easements encompassing extensive shorefront lands and spectacular ocean views which were donated by the family.

Creative Conservation, LLC worked with the family to plan the future of their long-held family ownership of a point on the southern Maine coast. The resulting plan involved sale of a portion of the property to Rachel Carson Wildlife Refuge while retaining a salt water farm for continued family use.
Family Farm Conservation
Freeport, Maine
Creative Conservation, LLC worked with a family in Freeport to design and implement a plan to protect their 160-acre Freeport livestock farm and woodlot. The project resulted in the sale of a conservation easement to the local land trust which will ensure its future farm and forest productivity while creating public hiking trails that links into a town-wide trail system.

Great Cranberry Isle, Maine
Four siblings inherited a spectacular ocean property. Creative Conservation, LLC worked with the family to sell a portion of the property to Maine Coast Heritage Trust, donate an easement over a portion of the remaining lands and provide future building sites for family members and the next generation.
